Getting started
What is XVideoChat?
XVideoChat is a live, one-on-one video chat platform for adults — you connect face to face with one real person at a time, never a public room or broadcast where an audience watches. Each match is a private, direct conversation that you control from the first second.
How do I start a video chat?
Open the home page, confirm you are 18 or over, and start matching — we connect you with someone who is online and ready to chat. From there you can talk, skip to the next person, or leave whenever you like. There is nothing complicated to set up first.
Do I need an account?
You can jump in quickly to try one-on-one video chat. Creating an account lets you keep your coins and VIP status, manage blocks, and pick up where you left off. You only share what you choose — there is no public profile for others to browse.
Is XVideoChat only for adults?
Yes. XVideoChat is strictly for people aged 18 and over. Age confirmation gates entry, and any suspected minor or attempt to involve a minor is removed and reported. If you believe an underage person is using the service, report it immediately.
Chat & matching
How does matching work?
When you start, we connect you with another adult who is online and looking to chat right now. Each match is a private one-on-one video session — just the two of you. When you are done, move on and we find someone new.
Can I skip to the next person?
Yes. Skip or Next ends the current match instantly and finds you someone new, and Leave closes the conversation whenever you want. You never have to explain yourself to the other person — it takes a single tap.
Can I choose exactly who I match with?
Matching pairs you with adults who are online and available, so you meet new people rather than browsing a fixed list. You stay in control of every match with skip, leave, mute and block, so you decide in seconds whether to keep talking.
What if no one's online right now?
If matches are slow at the moment, wait a few seconds and try again — availability changes constantly as people come and go. Peak times tend to bring more people online, so trying again shortly usually connects you quickly.
Coins & VIP (billing)
Is it free to start?
Yes. New members start with free matches and free messages, so you can try real one-on-one video chat before paying anything. When those run out you can keep going with coins or VIP — but you are never charged just to begin.
What are coins?
Coins are the in-app balance you use for matching and video calls once your free matches and messages are used up. You buy coins when you want them, and the exact amount any action costs is shown on the relevant in-app page before you spend — so you always pay for what you choose.
What is VIP?
VIP is an optional membership that gives you an enhanced experience on XVideoChat. Like coins, it is something you choose to buy rather than a default charge, and the details are shown in the app before you commit.
Will I be charged automatically?
No. XVideoChat has no subscription and no auto-renewal — nothing is billed in the background. You only ever pay when you choose to buy coins or VIP, and there are no silent recurring charges. If you see a charge you do not recognise, contact support and we will look into it.
Safety & moderation
What controls do I have during a chat?
The safety tools are always one tap away: Skip or Next moves you on, Leave closes the conversation, Block stops a user from ever matching with you again, Mute cuts their audio, and Report flags them for moderation. You never have to argue with anyone or explain why you are leaving.
How does moderation work?
XVideoChat runs round-the-clock moderation: automated detection looks for behaviour that breaks the rules, and trained human reviewers examine reported and flagged sessions. When you report someone, the report captures the session context as evidence, so reviewers are not guessing. Confirmed violations lead to restrictions up to a permanent ban.
How do I report someone?
During or right after a match, use the report control to flag the other person; the report captures the context of that session so moderators can act. You can also block them so they never match with you again. Both take a single tap and the other person is not told.

Privacy & anonymity
Is my video chat private?
Yes. Every match is a direct, private connection between two people — there is no public room, no audience, and no feed where strangers can browse you. You decide what to show and say in each conversation.
Do I have a public profile?
No. There is no public profile to build and nothing for others to look through. A match is one-on-one and private by design, so you stay anonymous unless you choose to share more with the person in front of you.
Are my chats recorded?
XVideoChat does not record your conversations for others to watch, and recording or re-sharing another user without their consent is against our rules. Live video can still reveal your face and surroundings, so use a neutral background and never share identifying details until you choose to.
What information do you collect?
We keep what we collect to the minimum needed to run the service and keep it safe. Exactly what we collect and how we protect it is set out in our Privacy Policy.
Account & technical
Do I need to allow camera and microphone access?
Yes — live video chat needs camera and microphone permission so you and the other person can see and hear each other. Your browser will ask once; allow it to start chatting. You can revoke permission in your browser settings any time.
Do I need to download an app?
No. XVideoChat works right in your browser, so there is nothing to install. Just open the site, confirm you are 18 or over, and start a chat.
What devices are supported?
XVideoChat runs in a modern web browser on phones, tablets and desktops with a working camera and microphone. As long as your device and browser support live video, you are good to go.
How do I delete my data or get support?
