This page explains how XVideoChat uses cookies and similar local storage in your browser. We keep this to a minimum — just what the service genuinely needs to work, plus a little basic analytics — and we never use cookies to sell your data or to let other companies advertise to you.

What we use
Cookies and browser local storage are small pieces of data a site saves on your device so it can remember things between pages and visits. On XVideoChat they fall into two groups:
- Essential — needed for the service to work. These keep you signed in across pages, remember that you have confirmed you are 18 or over (your age-gate confirmation), store your language preference, and hold your coin and VIP balance and account settings so the app behaves consistently. Without these, basic things like staying logged in or keeping your preferences simply would not work.
- Basic analytics & fraud prevention. We use a small amount of usage measurement to understand how the service is used — which pages load, where things break — and to help detect and prevent fraud and abuse. This is kept general and is used to run and protect the service, not to profile you for ads.
What we don't do
We are deliberately restrained about cookies. To be clear:
- We do not sell your data.
- We do not use cookies to let third parties advertise to you across the web.
- We do not build an advertising profile of you from your activity here.
Cookies on XVideoChat exist to run the service and keep it secure — nothing more.
Your choices
You are in control. Every major browser lets you view, control, block or clear cookies and local storage in its settings, and you can do this at any time. Look under the browser's privacy or site-data settings to manage or delete what XVideoChat (and any site) has stored.
One thing to keep in mind: because some of these cookies are essential, clearing or blocking them may sign you out, reset your language and other preferences, or require you to confirm your age again the next time you visit. The service may not work as expected until those essentials are allowed again.
